We worked with Rapha, POC, and Cannondale to create a special kit, helmet, and bike for Richard Carapaz

How are we going to win, Richie?
“We’re going to attack when no one expects.”
That’s how Richard Carapaz won his Olympic gold medal. That’s how he won his Giro. That is how he wants to race for us.
We are very excited that the Olympic champion is now on our team. From a remote town nestled high in the Ecuadorian Andes to millions of TV screens all over the world, he has become one of the most exciting athletes in modern sport, inspiring fans with his victories, the work he does to encourage Ecuadorian kids to start cycling, and, above all, the way that he wins. Richie Carapaz races with grit and without fear.
Cannondale built him a team bike to match his ambitions. Gold motifs nod to Richard’s Olympic victory, while his frame is engineered to go even faster in 2023.
Richie will race in comfort and style with his uber light POC Ventral in a pink and gold livery.
Rapha made a kit fit for the Olympic champ–of course. The gold accents on his jersey and shorts are subtle. Richie Carapaz remains a humble man from the high peaks of Ecuador.
He will show his lustre when the flag drops.
