Archie Ryan is one of the most exciting young climbers in the pro peloton. The 22-year-old Irishman has already beaten WorldTour competition uphill, when he won a mountain stage at the Tour of Slovakia. Last season, Archie won the Coppa Citta' Di San Daniele and a stage of the Tour de l’Avenir and earned second places at the U23 version of Il Lombardia and the Eurode Omloop.

An explosive finisher, Archie loves to put on a show. In his rookie year, he is going to try to learn all that he can, but never count him out if a race finishes uphill. Every time the peloton hits a climb, Archie Ryan wants to be the life of the party.

At the moment, he lives in Girona, where enjoys the sunny Catalan weather, smooth roads, and a great group of training buddies. But, for Archie, Ireland will always be home. His favorite roads run through hills around Wicklow, on the windblown coast by the Irish sea. That’s where he first learned to ride and still returns to ride whenever he can and where the whole cycling community will toast Archie Ryan when he wins.
