Bike check: Cédrine Kerbaol’s Cannondale LAB71 SuperSix EVO
Cédrine is racing for yellow on Cannondale’s ultimate race bike at the Tour de France Femmes
July 26, 2025
Cédrine Kerbaol is going into the Tour de France Femmes with GC ambitions.
Last year, she won a stage in her home Tour. Now, she wants to race for the maillot jaune. From the crosswinds of her native Brittany to the highest cols in the Alps, her Cannondale LAB71 SuperSix EVO is up for the challenge.
Constructed from superlight carbon, it’s sculpted to cut through the wind and surge up cols with every turn of the pedals. Cédrine has already raced it to fourth overall at the Vuelta España Femenina and great results at Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Tour de Suisse earlier this year. She loves how agile it is in the corners and how it bursts forward when she sprints.
"I'm super excited to push on my pedals and have fun on the downhills and on the climbs," Cédrine says. "My bike is fast up mountains and on the descents and on the flats—everywhere!"
Cédrine will ride Vision Metron 45 RS or Metron 60 RS wheels at the Tour de France Femmes, depending on the profile of each day’s stage. Her hyper aero Vision Metron 60 RS wheelset is best suited to the high-speed early stages around the hills of Brittany and the Loire Valley. When the race gets to the high mountains, Cédrine will go for her shallower Metron 45 RS wheelset to shave a few grams. Both are handbuilt to Vision’s exacting standards with full carbon rims and spokes as well as Vision’s new PRS hub system with helical clutch ratchet, which provides much faster engagement and power transfer than older designs. She rolls on 30mm Vittoria Corsa Pro tires with Air-Liners, which provide the best balance of low rolling resistance, puncture protection, and grip.
With 54-38 FSA chainrings paired with an 11-34 cassette, Cédrine can push power through her K-Force Team Edition crankset efficiently on all terrain without overtorquing on the climbs or running out of gears on descents. Her Wahoo SPEEDPLAY AERO pedals provide best-in-the-peloton cornering clearance and lower aerodynamic drag than her competitors’ systems.
This year’s Tour de France Femmes covers 1,165 kilometers across nine gruelling stages. Cédrine trusts her Fizik Vento Argo saddle to keep her comfortable over the course of the race and wraps her Cannondale SystemBar R-One carbon cockpit with Fizik Solocush handlebar tape to soften vibrations from the road and give her extra control in the turns.
She will navigate this year’s race course with her brand new Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT 3, which features a high-resolution anti-glare display that renders 16 million colors, including maillot jaune yellow.
