Cannondale built the reigning Olympic and American champ a LAB71 SuperSix EVO decked with Stars and Stripes paint with gold motifs to celebrate the US title she won in Charleston, West Virginia and the gold medal she won in the road race at the Paris Games.

From the smooth asphalt along the Riviera dei Fiori at Milano-Sanremo to the gritty climbs of the Ardennes, to high alpine ascents and screaming fast descents at La Vuelta Femenina and the Tour de France Femmes, Kristen’s LAB71 SuperSix EVO is designed to fly across all terrain. Superlight and agile, it dives into corners with a push of the handlebars and accelerates with every turn of the cranks.

Kristen mounts 28mm Vittoria Corsa Pro tubeless tires to her Vision Metron 60SL wheels. Vittoria’s rubber provides excellent grip on wet and dry asphalt with hyperlow rolling resistance so Kristen never wastes a watt. Her Vision Metron 45SLs balance lightweight with fantastic aerodynamics – just right for Kristen’s favorite way of winning races: attacking uphill and soloing to the end.

Kristen has tuned her Cannondale x MOMODesign SystemBar R-One cockpit for the same purpose. Once she is away, she’ll tuck in her elbows and drop her back flat, as she churns power through her 165mm FSA K-Force cranks. Kristen rides 54-40 chainrings with an 11-34 cassette in most races, though she may opt for a 36 in the rear if the day’s climbs are especially steep.
