The white gravel roads around Siena have fast become the arena for one of the most prized races on our calendar. Watching the peloton race through clouds of white dust or mud in the hilly vineyards of Chianti, you might think the Strade Bianche is a century old. Tuscany has long been the heartland of Italian bike racing. In truth, the race was founded just a little over a decade ago. Nevertheless,victory here would mean as much to our riders as a win in the oldest Monuments.
