Squad ends successful Tour with fireworks show over Montmarte and onto the Champs-Élysées

July 27, 2025

EF Education-EasyPost raced into Paris with a spectacular show of force over Montmarte and onto the Champs-Élysées to end the 2025 Tour de France.

We can look back on the 2025 Tour de France with pride. Kasper Asgreen, Michael Valgren, Alex Baudin, Neilson Powless, Vincenzo Abanese, Harry Sweeny, and Ben Healy rode their hearts out from the Grand Départ in Lille all the way to the Champs-Élysées. We’ll miss Marijn van den Berg tonight. He raced with all of his strength for the team, but had to leave the race on stage 10 due to injuries from his crash on the first stage.

Ben Healy’s stage 6 win and two days in the maillot jaune were the crowning moments of our Tour.

Ben almost won again on Mont Ventoux. He was awarded with the Super Combative prize for his exploits and celebrated tonight on the podium in Paris.

But, what we’ll always remember best from this Tour is the team spirit that defined the race for us.

Sports director Charly Wegelius said it best at our final dinner at the race. “It is one thing to achieve what you set out to achieve; it is another to do it with a smile.” We shared so many smiles at this Tour de France.

Even on the hardest days, after six hours of flat-out racing over mountains in the cold and rain or oppressive heat, after the disappointments of losing stages that we thought we could win, when the transfers were long and three weeks of fatigue set in, we rallied together and laughed it off around the dinner table and on the bus. And we got up the next morning 100 percent committed to riding for each other on the next stage. We raced to win right to the end.

EF Education-Oatly is now racing with the same spirit at the Tour de France Femmes. Watch them.

As this Tour de France comes to a close on the Champs-Élysées, read our riders thoughts from the finish line in Paris.

Ben Healy

This Tour de France was a dream come true. Winning a stage, wearing the yellow jersey – you can't ask for too much more than that.

It was pretty special to have the guys riding for me. The Tour is the biggest race in the world and to have them behind me was pretty incredible. Huge thanks to them, because for sure what I did in this Tour wasn’t possible without this team.

It is going to be special to be on the podium in Paris. Super combative is exactly the sort of rider I hoped to be when I was younger. I am very proud.

I guess what I have learned at this Tour is just to stick to what I know and keep doing what I know works. This Tour de France has been a big confirmation for me that sometimes it's a slow process, but I will always get there in the end.

Neilson Powless

Our Tour de France was explosive. We were going after every opportunity we could find and I think that really paid off for us this year. It doesn't pay off for us every year, but that's the style of this team – to go all in and take big risks. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. This year it paid off in a huge way. It has been the best Tour I've been a part of.

Personally, I felt like I was progressing physically through the Tour. I felt better in the last five days than I did in the first five days. That is something I will have to think about out and use to my advantage in years to come. I feel like I learn something new in every Tour I do. This year, I definitely learned a lot and I was proud to be a part of all the success that the team has had.

Kasper Asgreen

We had a good Tour with the stage win and yellow jersey. We can’t complain too much about that! It’s been a successful one. And it was a lot of fun. I've been lucky enough that all of the Tours I have done have been pretty fun.

The Tour is something special. Everybody here knows that this is the pinnacle of the sport that we're doing. It brings a special atmosphere and it shines through every time and I think that's a really nice.

Michael Valgren

Every Tour is long and hard, but this one's been special. We had the yellow jersey and the win with Ben. The team spirit the whole way carried the whole team for the whole three weeks. It’s been good fun. My favorite memory was the day Ben won. We were all there, standing in front of the podium to still be there with him and it felt like it was our win as well. That was a nice memory.

Vincenzo Albanese

I’m very happy, and it’s really special to be here in Paris. The weather isn’t great, but it’s still a special moment. Montmartre was very dangerous with the pavé—it wasn’t a peaceful day. I’ve made great memories over the past three weeks; it’s the best race in the world.

Harry Sweeny

The Tour was everything that I expected after my absence for the last four years. It was a mix of all kinds of good emotions. The biggest moment for me was having my family at the start. That was super special. And then, being a part of Ben winning a stage and then going into yellow were definitely the big highlights. It was nice to have crack there at the end. It was not to be, but one of my best mates won. We’re going to celebrate tonight.

Alex Baudin

My first Tour de France experience was absolutely amazing and exhausting. These last few days, I was starting to be completely dead, but it was worth it. It was an amazing experience and the team did really well. It is going to be a great memory for me for a long time.

It was really special to race on my home roads. I just wish I had to better legs to play with, but I have to be happy. I really enjoyed the moments at home, racing on the roads I know.
